Lancaster Crit
Yesterday was the Lancaster crit for the amateurs and then the road race for the pros. It started to rain just as they blew the horn for our race. Within the first 10 laps there had to have been 40 crashes. The roads were unbelievably slick. It wasn't even like we were going real hard into the corners and guys wheels were just coming out from underneath them. Luckily no one on the team had any major mishaps except Phil. Everyone rode really well. We had 4 guys in the break in the last 15 laps or so and Dave G. took 5th and 1st in the U-23 catagory.
It's been raining ever since it started yesterday and is supposed to rain most of the day today. I had a rest day planned today and I think it might work out nice. I'm starting to feel the racing in training so I thought today would be a good day to take some rest.
Loren flies in tomorrow around noon, so I'll have to resume the riding tomorrow and make it a double day. I love the double days.
