Back in D-Town
Made it back last night pretty late after the yesterdays stage. It was 106 miles and had some serious climbing in it. I want to give a huge Congrats to Guptill for a 6th place finish on the stage yesterday and a 14th GC. That is an awsome result.
As for myself, I was disapointed in the overall performance at Gila. I was hoping to put in a good result. The legs just weren't there. I put in the miles, but things just didn't come together. Our team director is not very happy either. I feel really bad. There are a lot more races though, and tough races only make you tougher. Maybe the team can come up with some good results soon.
Kuhl and I head out tomorrow for Kansas, with a nights stop in Colorado Springs and then finish up the trip on Wed. to Lawrence, with the FLC team. After Nats I'm going directly home to see Loren and the rest of the Fam. I wish i was there right now!!
