Good Racin'

Well, we got in some more good racing yesterday in New Jersey. It was a crazy crit course with 8 turns in it and was a bit hairy sometimes, but better than I thought it would be. We had 3 guys place in the money so that was good. The field was pretty stacked with Navigators, Colavita, and Rite Aid all bringing full squads.

The next race is in Lancaster PA on Sunday. I think we could pull out a win there, because we have to do the 1-2 amateur crit. Everyone is riding really well so it should be a good race.

Not much else going on right now just training and trying to keep cool as the summer time heat starts to kick in. My camera is dead so I'm going to get some new bats. to put some kutztown pics up.

Mt. Hood Results

Check out the Mt. Hood results from the prologue yesterday. Some guy from california giant killed it, beating O'neal by 12 seconds over a three mile course. O'neal said he was in his 58x11 most of the time and averaged 518 watts and this guy still crushed him. I don't know all about the 58x11, but that is still crazy.

We head back to New Jersey today for some more crit racing. The plan is to head out with some of the Colavita guys this morning for a little spin because the race doesn't start until later this evening. It's pretty cool to see tons of pro riders here in this little town in PA. Wish us luck tonight.

Come Back

Lets see, I think the best thing to write is that I have had some serious knee trouble that had me sidelined for about 4 1/2 weeks. I've been back on the bike for a little over 2 weeks. I'm in Kutztown PA again and the team house is a little better than last year. Did tour of somerville yesterday with the boys and I felt like the team raced well. No big results but everyone was aggressive all day. The first race back was a little rough, but I hope to gain some fitness back before Nationals.

Internet is a little weak here, but I'll try to start updating more.
